May 6 update - spinal fluid negative for cancer cells.
"Vincent's
spinal fluid was negative for cancer cells last week! The lumbar
puncture went well but the next day he did get sick from the chemo. Last
week his platelets were trending down and, after reviewing the trends
from the past 2 times we increased the dose of his inhibitor, I was
concerned that we were heading back to another dose reduction. But he
had labs today and we were pleasantly surprised to see his platelets had
bounced back up!"
