Cancer and nutrition II

Recently there emerged a number of diets which use meat as essential part of.
Diets with raw meat have shown themselves as high-energy nitrition by responces of those 
who tried them.


Regarding cancer:
--- meat has recently been classified to be Yang  in particular in a book on nutrition according to 
5 elements
--- this means it can create Yang state of body which is essential to fight cancer (previous posts)
Macrobiotics classifies meat and fish into Yin and Yang according to it's principles.

  The problem is:

--- meat, even most healthy and free of preservatives/antibiotics etc, essentially cloggs energy paths
--- this means healing energy generated by acupuncture or other method has problem to reach cancer formations
--- this is true even for a broth
At early stages this may be not so important; anyway as battling cancer needs every bit of energy, this is
to be considered seriously.



Fish is much less (possibly 2-2.5 times) clogging energy paths, so it can be used in cancer diets.
Especially valuable for cancer patients appear to be shrimps:
--- their clogging of energy paths is very little, less than of fish
--- they are rich in essential elements, minerals as every sea product and very easily digested.
Another product with almost zero clogging is caviage, also strong Yang.
Eggs are also rather strong Yang.

Cancer and nutrition

The below is a system based on Yin-Yang approach the same for acupuncture,
the Macrobiotics system which divides all products into Yin and Yang group.
Basics and full list are in books of George Ozawa and the below short list of products is taken
from a book of Kasudzo Nishi.

Yang:
--- rice, millet, wheat, buckwheat, 
--- duck, turkey, pigeon, partrige, pheasant
--- goat's milk, Roquefort and Edam cheese

--- shrimp, lobster, sardines, herring, salmon and other fish with pink flesh; caviar,
--- radish, turnip, onion, garlic, parsley, dill, carrots, chestnuts, apples, salt, eggs,
strawberry, cherry.


Especially strong Yang products: backwheet, carrot, caviar
Yin:
corn (not American word for wheat!) , rye, barley, oats, oysters, carp, eel, trout,
pike, tuna, flounder, eggplant, tomatoes, potatoes,
beans, cucumbers, zucchini, mushrooms, beets, garlic,
cabbage, pork, beef, veal, lamb, chicken, kefir, yogurt,
sour cream, cottage cheese, butter, milk, cheese,
pineapple, orange, mandarin, banana, lemon, pear,
grapes, nuts, watermelon, plum, honey, sugar, zhity,
coffee, wine, beer.
Especially strong Yin of the listed: potatoes, tomatoes, yogurt, eggplants, grape.

One can see 2/3 of products are Yin.
This is very notable regarding to cancer:
--- it's main energy is Cold=Yin
--- energy for spreading i.e. Burn is secondary.
 
Macrobiotics founders directlly pointed on switching to fully Yang diet when battling cancer.
As there are different types of cancers for their location and behavour, this may be as:
--- generally it's adviced to have excesss of Yang meals
--- 100% Yang is difficult to achive as there are valuable products among strong Yin to support digestion 
like yogurt/kefir
--- this may indicate 85% maybe 90% Yang as top value
--- for very aggressive cancer with a lot of Yang energy,  Yang fraction my be reduced
--- anyway the lowest Yang percentage is to be no less 65%.
