There's been a number of versions for different types of sleep apnea in previous posts illustrating schemes in 8 Qi. Below is Triorigin scheme for complex sleep apnea as comprising simpler versions.
Basic Triorigin scheme for sleep apnea may look as:
No-Ho-Ne-Ho-Ne-Ho-He (brain)-He-He(respiratory system)-No (night time): No harmonization
--- brown points - needles perpendicular
--- brown lines - needles direction
Self-treatment, taping natural crystals:
--- all green
Also, may be simple heating of taped
crystals by 3 incense sticks tied together perpendicular for all
points, in a sequence, each for 1 min.
Approach for especially serious cases, like already described:
No-Ho-Ne-Ho-Ne-Ho-He (brain)-He-He (respiratory system)-No (night time)-No (potentially lethal cease of breath): No tone up, Ho sedate, He tone up, Ne tone up

Sleep apnea, 8 Qi schemes, mixed and complex sleep apnea
Continued of the previous posts, mixed and complex sleep apnea.
Light energy added as universal linking and harmonizing factor:
Burn--->Light (brain)--->Dryness--->Cold (nasopharynx)--->Wind (muscles)--->Darkness (night time) ---> Light: No harmonization
due to complex mix of factors and behavour the universal treatment option is having the needle perpendicularly into No point 7.

Sleep apnea, 8 Qi schemes, central sleep apnea
Continued of a previous post.
Starting with path to brain:
Burn--->Light (brain)--->Dryness (respiratory system)--->Darkness (night time): Ho (spasm, weakness) sedate, He tone up
and similarly, for most serious cases:

Sleep apnea, 8 Qi schemes, obstructive sleep apnea
Sleep apnea types include:
--- the most common OSA obstructive sleep apnea due to low muscles tone and similar reasons
--- CSA central sleep apnea due to imbalance in the brain's respiratory control centers responsible for adequate response to oxygen/carbon dioxide level
--- mixed and complex sleep apnea with both of above present in different conjunction.
Serious cases have shown to lead to an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, arrhythmias, stroke, diabetes, and sleep deprived driving accidents. Extreme cases can lead to death
in sleep. This indicates sleep apnea is by no way to be taken not seriously enough for those in a risk group for the above diseases.
1. OSA, scheme in Spiral system:
Dryness--->Cold (nasopharynx)--->Wind (muscles)--->Darkness (night time): Ho (spasm, weakness) sedate, He tone up
right hand, cronic case
In severe cases one is also sedate No as potentially lethal cease of breath.
People of certain Constitution may instead show better results with No energy tonification. Ideally, these 2 are to be alternated:
point 7, No sedate
For most serious cases one can additionally address Darkness energy as potentially lethal cease of breath:
Dryness--->Cold (nasopharynx)--->Wind (muscles)--->Darkness (night time)--->Darkness (potentially lethal cease of breath): No tone up
No and Ne tonification

Black colour for points
Points forming a chain which leads to destination for treatment, and also points to harmonize, are marked by green as general rule, however recent probes on diabetes 1 type case have shown marking all points for Spiral/Triorigin schemes in black, works well. This may somehow correlate to the nature of a disease. i.e. Neito - total loss of function due to destruction. It may happen this will also work well for other autoimmune diseases and Neito conditions.
This also makes patient more sedated which may help restore energy during a session. There seems however, that it's best to have this symmetrical i.e. mark points in black for both hands or have it
in one scheme on central line, like on abdomen with centre in navel, as having this on only one hand gives sense of imbalance.

Spinal cord damage, gunshot wounds, Triorigin scheme
Triorigin scheme continuing the coverage of an spinal cord damade due to street gang violence:
No-Ho-Ne-He-No (nerv.system)-He (spinal cord)-Ne (location): No (related to state of paralysis) either tone up or sedate, He (change) tone up, Ho (trauma energy) sedate, Ne tone up
--- brown points - needles perpendicular
--- brown lines - needles direction
Self-treatment, taping natural crystals:
--- green - 1,2,3,8
--- black (tonifying) or white (sedation) - 4
--- red - 5,6
--- white - 7
Also, may be simple heating of taped crystals by 3 incense sticks tied together perpendicular for all points, in a sequence, each for 1 min.
There are 2 options for needle for Neito point 4 on final meridian, to be sedated or tonified, as there are different fundamental properties for No energy.
Both versions are to be alternated.
So far the treatment is guided through Internet, this self-treatment is shown just to illustrate it is possible by a non-professional. All schemes given in 4 posts are essential to deal with such serious damage, as each type works on it's own energy level, though the Spiral schemes in 8 Qi are actually a sublevel of Triorigin type.

Spinal cord damage, gunshot wounds, Spiral schemes
Referred to the previous posts.
Spiral schemes in 8 Qi:
Burn (nerv. system)--->Wind (thoracic area)---> Wind (T3): No tone up, He tone up, Ho sedate, Ne tone up:
left hand, acute case
Basic explanations for the choice for Triorigin points:
http://acupunctureforcancerideas.blogspot.ru/2013/05/spinal-cord-damage-gunshot-wounds-local.html
The same for No sedation:
difference in needle direction for point 4 marked white (No sedation)
This and previous scheme are to be alternated.
Or one may have them both on different palms
(one scheme is made mirror-like).
Schemes for T6:
No tone up; direction of needles shown by brown lines.
No sedation.
The same general guidance as for previous pair of schemes.

Spinal cord damage, gunshot wounds, Local and "Light-Darkness" schemes
Referred to the previous post, Local scheme for the damaged area T3-T6:
the ellipse comprises spinal cord from T3 to T6.
Points with needles direction:
--- 2 red - sedation of Ho and toning up He: fighting trauma energy Ho and promoting positive change
--- Ne toning up
--- No toning up as "termination" of present situation of paralysis.
2-nd version with No sedation:
the same with No sedation regarding
No as major energy for paralysis.
Both schemes are to be alternated.
Schemes to concentrate energy in ailing place via different mechanism (modified Light-Darkness schemes working well for traumas). Allow to target T3 and T6 individually (in fact, the Local schemes can do the same).
Targeting T3:
3 options for the final point 3:
--- sedation - black
--- toning up - red
--- harmonizing/balancing - green
their use depends on:
--- time passed since trauma moment: black point effective at first moments to several hours to manage acute trauma energy which can make a big difference for future recovery
--- toning up used for chronic diseases/traumas
--- harmonization may be used anytime
The same for T6:
These and the Local schemes can be used together.
One may also combine such Light-Darkness scheme with Local scheme in one scheme to get more action on the problem

Spinal cord damage, gunshot wounds
Evaluation of a spinal cord damage from a gunshot episode, total 4 gunshot wounds as as result of a street gang assault:
--- two bullets got one in elbow another in shoulder
--- the main damage having been done by 2 bullets into T3-T6 region
This has taken place April 14, and the patient has come through initial phase of recovery, with severe pain subsided and psychological shock also managed essentialy; however there's no sensation below the waist.
Due to multiple injuries the most universal approach is Time Energies by the moment of an attack:
(luckily known up to minutes) which covers all the problems altogether:
Points:
---1 - 2013
--- 2 - April
--- 3 - 14-th April
--- 4,5,6 - focusing to 10.24 AM
in 3 days strong pain has gone and the sufferer keeps the upbeat mood despite the severity of the situation in general.
There is also a Triorigin scheme being used (next post, also more schemes for the case).
