More, his wife reported, there's been sudden wake-up moment, in his paralysed left art, like an electric impulse.

First man has been having quite serious moods swings, from previous constantly elevated, to quite depressed andf also sort of confused. Which totally vanished today, and he's again in great spirits.

Which tells, how complex and milti-faced this disease is, though, compared to many other GBM stories, thease are just minor issues.

 Second man successfully drove his car today, first time since November last year.

Him after 3 days rehab for physiotherapy.

His wife told, he's cosntantly trying to get up and do smth, like housework, or to make a cup of coffee for her - and then realizes, he still can't, due to stroke stricken left side.

His:
--- mood and energy are constantly high, 
--- no sleep problems, with poppy seeds and Melatonin aid
--- his stricken left side is regaining activity for legs, and left shoulder, however below shoulder his arm is still almost not working.

another MRI in 2 weeks:

"Just wanted to share what we have been going through since the last 2 weeks. With the mistake of the radiologist who gave verbal comment about 1cm growth to our oncologist, we almost lost our hope.. after getting second opinions and doing perfusion mri at a different hospital, we discovered that the tumor actually shrunk alittle bit and the edema caused by the small necrosis got less.. i just want to say that never decide with one opinion.. always do your research.. we could have been doing something else right now with that mistake.. so grateful to have a great helper and supporter who gave me good advice all the time. Never lose hope! First two pics are previous mr and the last pic is the last mri with mm shrinkage !"

Glioblastoma case 2, update, tumor shrinkage in 2 weeks

There are good news, as perfusion MRI, done Friday last week, showed:
--- tumor reduction in size: from 37.55mm to 35.6mm, and from 21.54 to 20.4mm, there are estimations, overall 15% reduction since last MRI 2 weeks ago
--- significant reduction of edema.

There seems also reduction in tumor size for sagittal view - now 39.0  from 42 mm.

 

What is also good, tumor in sagittal view, is looking more blank, than was previously.

He was completely immobile 2 months ago, not able to go to bathroom himself.
Two leg fractures, and one in sacrum - due to steroids.

Today they are planning to drive a car on a parking lot, and walk on a beach
for longer time.

This is something to be happy about, so far qute recently he was still mostly immobile, due to whole left side paralysis, after radiation-induced stroke.

Night sleep problems seem to still bother, however thay haven't started using poppy seeds yet.

"Hi Everyone, Its been several long days of recovery for Brooke and planning next steps. First, Brooke is doing really well. She is walking around and having a nice time with a lot of family and friends visiting. She also had her wonderful school principal and teachers stop by to "graduate" her to middle school! Go Brooke".

I don't think, there are any serious obstacles, for her to become a long time survivour, or to be healed completely.
So far there's plenty of time available. 















Distant healing started, when she had terrible pains in her sarcum, which was feared as progression.
Since then, her state has been stably improving, to no pains and problems with walking, as reported above.

There's been improvement recently, his caregiver reported:
"...Ok thankyou. Doctor from London just called. He is charge of the COC protocol. He is happy to say the tumour is in retreat from last scan. Next scan July 30th."

"...Last night we had a gathering of friends over and he stayed up for ages eating, drinking soft drinks and socialising.
We were having such a lovely time. From 6pm until 9pm he sat outside on the patio..laughing and joking..."

But it was spoiled by latest medication, he was prescribed:
"... Awww no I haven't yet. He was prescribed the antidepressant and sleep aid called mirtazapine. He was a terrible night.
He got agitated and upset on it
Started crying
I was up all night with him

His legs were jumping

So I wont give him again"

Remeron clearly working poorly on him, and together with antidepressant - brought about such reaction.

They were adviced:

--- ancient Mayan recipe of raw cocoa beans on milk.

He's improving steadily:



Info came from his Dr today, that tumor continues to shrink.
Next scan is 30 July.

He's improving for neurological symptoms, which means, stroke is gettinng healed.

Recent symproms of slow speech and shaky walking turned out to be a result of quite significant brain edema around tumor - tumor itself hasn't changed on yesterday's MRI.

 
 It was decided to have him back on 8 mg steroids per day temporarily - which quickly helped both speech and walking - however steroids are not a solution, due to weakening his bones and other harmful effects.











It was found, he's quite seriously below the prescribed 80-85% of Yang meals - which explains Yin syndroms like water retention in brain - appear - considering, his Constitution is mostly Dampness energy.

His caregiver was strongly advised to strictly adhere for 85% Yang meals from now.
